E commerce Regulation: A Step Towards Transparency, But Will It Be Enough?
The Indian government has introduced amendments to the Consumer Protection (E Commerce) Rules, 2020, aimed at curbing price manipulation and deceptive design practices in online marketplaces.
The amended rules will come into effect on January 1, 2027.
